Cube Series AC Cable

The Cube Series is an established GutWire power-cable design that remains part of the current range. Developed before the SV Series, it reflects an earlier generation of GutWire engineering while continuing to offer a distinctive combination of musicality, openness, and natural tonal balance. The Cube Series remains available for listeners who value its particular presentation and hybrid conductor design.

Unlike the SV Series, which uses solid-core conductors throughout, Cube Series power cables combine solid-core and multi-strand high-purity oxygen-free copper conductors. Each conductor is individually shielded, with copper-braided shielding, Teflon and low-dielectric insulation, and natural mineral materials incorporated into the design. Selected models also use Germanium and GutWire’s Electron Rectification Processing as part of their construction.

This hybrid approach gives the Cube Series its own character within the GutWire power-cable range. The combination of solid-core and multi-strand conductors is designed to provide a broad, open presentation with natural tonal balance, clear rhythmic expression, and a strong sense of ease. Individually handcrafted in Canada, Cube Series cables offer an alternative to the more solid-core-focused SV Series while maintaining GutWire’s central goal: to reduce distractions and allow the audio system to sound musical.

The Cube Series is available in six models, with the X Cube at the top of the range and the Iris Cube as the entry model. Current Cube Series cables are fitted with Furutech connectors. Some product images may show the stainless-steel IEC and AC shells used on earlier versions of the X, Pure, and Power models; those connectors are no longer used on current production cables.
